Doug first sailed the Caribbean in 1995 as mate on a charter to the British Virgin Islands where he found not only that the sailing was marvelous -- but the people, the culture, the music, the beaches -- all contributed to the vacation of a lifetime - so he decided to go to the islands every year. Now he enjoys skippering charter vacations for sailors throughout the US and Canada. He is enthusiastic, safety conscious, and enjoys teaching.
